fsrB

Gene encoding fsrB membrane protein, a gene responsible for signaling ligand export in the fsrABC quorum sensing system native to Enterococcus Faecalis. Preliminary characterization by Western blotting suggests the possibility that it produces and exports functional GBAP (fsr signaling ligand) when expressed in E. coli. Available upon request from Caltech 2014 iGEM team in custom backbone.
